Basilur Tea Coffee is a cozy cafe tucked into the retail strip along Beach Blvd in Buena Park, offering a tranquil spot for locals and visitors to slow down with a thoughtfully crafted tea and brunch menu. This isn’t your typical coffee stop; instead, it’s a place where the focus is on specialty teas paired with delicate soufflé pancakes and creative brunch plates that aim to balance flavor with lightness.

The atmosphere leans toward relaxed and inviting, with comfortable seating and walls adorned by rows of tea selections that hint at the menu’s careful curation. It’s well suited for mid-morning brunches or mid-afternoon tea breaks, when the natural light makes the space feel airy and calm. Customers often come here to enjoy a quiet moment — whether catching up with a friend over a matcha strawberry latte or savoring the subtle complexities of their signature Basilur teas.

The soufflé pancakes stand out as the most talked-about item, consistently described as impressively soft and fluffy without being overly sweet. Options like the strawberry and banana soufflé pancakes highlight how the kitchen plays with seasonal and comforting flavors without overwhelming the palate. Those looking for something a bit different can try the ube waffle or avocado toast, both of which have drawn favorable nods for their balanced textures and generous portions. Tea-wise, the spot offers a wide range from fruity iced tea blends to more traditional choices like English Breakfast and rooibos, as well as several inventive latte flavors including ube, hazelnut, and Spanish latte variations.

For locals, Basilur Tea Coffee works well as a casual meet-up point or a solo escape to reset with a hot drink and a light bite. Service typically moves at a comfortable pace, friendly and informative without feeling rushed, enhancing the laid-back vibe. While the menu is playful and varied, those seeking a more substantial meal might find portions modest, but the emphasis here is distinctly on quality and experience over quantity. The tea time set leans sweet, so those hoping for more savory brunch options might want to plan accordingly.

Overall, Basilur Tea Coffee fits best for anyone looking to explore tea culture through curated blends alongside creative brunch dishes that bring gentle textures and fresh flavors to the table. If you enjoy a warm spot to linger on weekend mornings or a calmer, less conventional café vibe during the week, this spot offers a nice balance of casual comfort and thoughtful detail in Buena Park.

The food was great and the service was fast. I was looking for the Tiramisu Souffle pancake but they did not have it. We got the Banana Souffle pancake and Strawberry Souffle pancake. I was surprised with the souffle pancakes, they were so soft and fluffy. The icing or cream they put on it was not too sweet, it was just right. The Matcha Strawberry tea was also good.

Had the pleasure of trying the brunch menu at this establishment and I must say, the fluffy pancake was quite delightful. Although I would have preferred a larger serving size, the taste was spot-on. I'm already looking forward to my next visit where I plan to sample some of the other items on the menu. The cozy atmosphere of the place really added to the overall experience and I left feeling satisfied and content. I would definitely recommend giving this spot a try!

Beautiful little place with tea lining the walls! Staff was very nice and informative, seating was really comfy and I really enjoyed our food, we had the ube waffle and the avocado toast. My only note was that the ice cream was a bit crunchy with ice? But it tasted fine. The avocado toast was really filling and the egg was poached perfectly!

We went on Easter and it was delicious! Very good food and tea and the soufflé pancake was really unique and delicious, I definitely want to try it again in different flavors as well (I got caramel last time). My only criticism would be that the tea time set that I took a picture of needs more savory items rather than the amount of sweets it has. It would be nice to maybe add a few more small finger sandwiches and have less cheesecake/macaroons. The cakes were delicious but it’s nice when it’s balanced out and not all sweets. I would definitely come again though! Everything tasted great and the environment is really nice inside.

Finally gotten around to reviewing one of my go-to dessert places. Love their soufflé pancakes and ube waffles. Although this visit the waffle was more crunchy and toasted, rather than waffley (soft inside and slightly crispy on the bites), so it was rather difficult to chew. Tried the ube latte for the first time and it was actually pretty good. Most ube lattes I've had fail to capture the ube flavor and tend to taste very starchy. Basilur seems to have this drink down, but I've only had it this first time so can't say about consistency like I can with the waffles. The soufflé pancakes has always been consistently delicious with every visit.

Lovely tea house with a variety of food items. We came for lunch and enjoyed the eggs Benedict, ham and cheese croissant Delicious Ube latte. I would definitely like to come back and try other drinks and pancakes. Looking forward to returning very soon.
